5 Websites

1.) http://petapixel.com/2014/12/31/10-photography-resolutions-new-year/

On this website, I saw beautiful and thoughtful pictures. The photos linked to the main idea of the web page. It was about New Year's Resolutions and how to think them out. The main idea of the paragraph was to show how you can make sound and thought out New Year's Resolutions.

I learned perspective from each of these photos. Each of them were different and very well thought out. They really try to focus on one thing.



A.) I picked this photo because I feel, out of the rest, this one reached out to me. I really can't describe it. I guess something about how she seems happy through the storm.

B.) In the photograph, I see balance and simplicity. It is very clear the woman is their subject and it is really clear about how they're speaking out through the photo.

C.) Jenna Martin is the photographer.

I did do a tutorial but could not create anything because it just showed just how to do it. The tutorial I took is how to create foreground with "rain drops" or water drops.

A.) I learned how to create an illuminating foreground for any model or anything you are taking photos of.

B.) If we are taking photos outside, I think this could be a cool way to bend the light and show the subject in a new "light".

C.) This did not expand my knowledge of any programs.

The video I watched was on macro footage.

A.) In the video I saw close up images of regular ordinary items. They were so close you couldn't tell what they were at first.

B.)  DL Cade is an Editor in chief at the PetaPixel headquarters. He is a photographer and obviously, an editor.

C.) What I read wasn't really a "story" it was more like a paragraph. Basically they just wanted to make a video to make people guess what they are.

D.) I learned that photos up close can be intriguing or really gross. It depends on how you view it and your perspective.

A.) On the website I saw many pictures of mostly people.

B.) I learned different points of perspective.

C.) The site related to photography by showing many well taken images and coordinating them with the rules of photography.

On this website, I saw projection. The photographers used a projector to light up their subject. The way they did it was lighting the perfect amount of the subject so that it looked glow in the dark. I thought it was amazing.

I learned from each of these photos that if you have the right amount of lighting, then you can make a subject perfect.



A.) I picked this photo because it looks like the leaves are on fire.

B.) In this photo I saw a lot of lines and balance.

C.) Michael Zhang.



A.) I learned that with the right tools, you can make anything look warped or look like something that its not.

B.) If we needed light in the darkness, then we could use the tutorial I got to make it look like we have sunlight.

C.) This did not expand my knowledge of any programs.



A.) In the video, I saw the camera off of a google pixel. The man went around Utah filming all day.

B.) Matteo Bertoli is a film maker who occasionally works for PetaPixel.

C.) There is not a big story, just that Matteo wanted to try his new camera.

D.) I learned that the camera on google pixel is amazing and almost as good as a regular camera.



A.) On the website I saw many different varieties of stuff. I saw the projector which was cool. I also saw how the google pixel works.

B.) I learned how to warp pictures to look as if they are not something. I also saw how amazing you can be with just a few tools.

C.) The site related to photography through skill and perfection.

What I looked at on the site was crazy. I could barely focus on one thing. The staircases were beautiful and enchanting. They really make someone dizzy.

I learned from these photos the true beauty of photography, and the art behind it.



A.) I picked this photo because it enchanted me.

B.) This photo is very much just lines.

C.) Michael Zhang.



A.) I learned how to make a DIY reflector.

B.) We could use this for portraits.

C.)  This did not change or enhance my knowledge of any program.



A.) In the video I saw the reflection power of a reflector on a person.

B.) Joe Edelman made the video. He is a DIY youtuber.

C. I learned how to use reflection to make someone look cool.



A.) On the website I saw really cool staircases. They were very dizzying. Most of the time they looked like they were paintings.

B.) I learned the twists of photography.

C.) The site related to photography through modern art.

On this website I saw portraits. Each one showed something unique. They really thought through on how to bring out the model. They made each photo their own style.

I learned that by bringing out the models, you can bring out personality.



A.) I picked this photo because it is unusual.

B.) In this photo there is clearly balance. Both in him and the black berry on his nose.

C.) Rajib Mukherjee



A.) In the tutorial I learned about low lighting and how to use it.

B.) If we ever need photos in low light, this will help.

C.) This did not expand my knowledge of any program.



A.) On the website there was a lot of unique shots. There were photos that really spoke out. Then there were those that didn't speak at all.

B.) I learned the rules of portraits.

C.) The site related to photography out of the rules of portrait.

On this website I saw style. Each photo was unique in its own way. I thought they were very forward and up to date. Each one held different style.

I learned that style isn't everything.



A.) I picked this photo because it speaks to me.

B.) In this photo there is lines and simplicity.

C.) Robin Walker.



A.) In the tutorial I learned how to use tilt shift lenses.

B.) I think this will enhance our knowledge and photography skill.

C.) My knowledge was not expanded.



A.) In the video, I was taught to shoot a 35mm, 120, and large format film.

B.) DL Cade is an Editor in chief at the PetaPixel headquarters. He is a photographer and obviously, an editor.

C.) No story told.

D.) In the video I learned how to properly shoot a 35mm, 120, and large format film.



A.) On the website I mainly saw style. Each thing was very unique.

B.) I learned how to shoot good photos for style.

C.) This relates to photography through the elements in each photo.
